Do you like experimenting in fashion? I hope so! You know I do! Sometimes I really like to combine pieces in an untypical way. Doing this I want to tell the world: hey, fashion is fun, don’t be so strict and enjoy that!

I could obviously style this pretty designer blue plaid skirt into an elegant outfit with a single-color top. But it is the easiest styling anybody can think out in 1 second, I guess. I prefer challenge! And this school-girl look is the result. Another reason why I chose a bit sporty playful style is that I go to the gym right from work regularly and it was my gym day. So I needed something casual chic to look good even when wearing my sportsbag. Apart from my pretty green plaid skirt by Jocha, I also wanted to show you my new navy blue jacket. I bought it when looking for a new coat. Then I realized that I have not bought a really warm winter jacket for long. When I was trying this blue quilted jacket on, I fell in love, especially with the collar. It can be transformed into a turtleneck. My wool accessories provide the outfit a bit of more playfulness but since they are all in grey, they also kind of neutralize the whole look. Now, let me know… What do you think of this school-girl look?
