My Travel Essentials List

I have probably never been traveling in a summer that much as this year. Most of my journeys in July and August were for business since I was a trainee in Prague fashion stores. However, I was packing almost every week for a couple of days. Luckily, the best is yet to come and I am going to travel for holiday too. Our destination is Cyprus and I can’t wait to discover lots of beautiful spots on the island. We also plan to shoot a lot of pictures and do videos so as you might expect from a fashionista, I will be fully packed. Some items to pack are of bigger importance than the rest to me. Thanks to my previous business trips I already know which little helpers I cannot travel without. The following useful travel products are all on my travel essentials list.

Natura Siberica Shampoo Review

Natura Siberica shampoo & conditioner for colored and damaged hair

My demands on ethical and quality standarts of beauty products have increased over the past 2 years. Before I purchase a cosmetic product, I explore its brand’s philosophy, origin, ethical values. More information about production process is provided, more trustful it becomes in my eyes. There still remain loads of drugstore or even dermatological brands which are owned by magnate companies concentrating their low-cost cosmetic production in institutes with animal testing or other unethical practices (haven’t been abandoned in some places yet, e.g. China).
I would like to share thoughts about an organic beauty brand with a very interesting story and admirable all natural production.
It is Natura Siberica, cosmetics of wild herbs and flowers. I have already published an unboxing video including my first impressions on Natura Siberica products. You can watch it to see my complete experience with Natura Siberica haircare line. (more…)

Remington Iron that Curls & Straightens

Remington Pro Sleek & Curl review

I got a new hair styling tool as a Christmas gift. It is Remington PRO Sleek & Curl and I love the way it treats my hair.
Until know I owned just the classic straightener which was great but I tried using it for creating curls for a couple of times.
I didn’t fail but it used to take too much time and effort. (more…)

Every year I prepare some ideas on Christmas beauty gifts so here is my Christmas wish list 2017. I always pick products which I personally love and which I have had good experience with already.

As some of you know I was working at Notino eshop for a couple of years which was not only a great working experience for me but there was even funnier part of it – getting to know the assortment. Imagine seeing the beauty offers every single day. No one would resist shopping! Now after all the opportunities to try out new things, I can say that I know what to pick among the huge amount of beauty consumer goods, and also, what I don’t want. (more…)

How I Get Wavy Hair without Heat

Photo from my video How I Get Wavy Hair Without Heat

Most of my beauty reviews on Chic Cocktail blog are focused on hair care products which actually corresponds to my obsession with hair styles, or more specifically hair color, experiments. I need to admit that I really have gone through a couple of different hair styles in the past years. You can even see the proof in my post ‘My different hairstyles’. Altogether with my main passion, which is fashion obviously, I can see the picture of me quite clearly. Once I’m all dressed up and my hair is fine, I feel good. My makeup is a secondary issue. A healthy diet and calm mind is my best skincare. If my skin in in good condition, I do not burden it with makeup, usually. My mornings are all about my outfit, accessories and the hair! (Well… ok, plus eyebrows and mascara). (more…)

Now, two weeks of daily usage, I can share my thoughts about the Lavera Basis Sensistiv Q10 cream. Learn more in my full review below.
