MOST PRODUCTS FROM THIS BEAUTY COLLAGE ARE AVAILABLE AT NOTINO

Every year I prepare some ideas on Christmas beauty gifts so here is my Christmas wish list 2017. I always pick products which I personally love and which I have had good experience with already.

As some of you know I was working at Notino eshop for a couple of years which was not only a great working experience for me but there was even funnier part of it – getting to know the assortment. Imagine seeing the beauty offers every single day. No one would resist shopping! Now after all the opportunities to try out new things, I can say that I know what to pick among the huge amount of beauty consumer goods, and also, what I don’t want. (more…)

How I Get Wavy Hair without Heat

Photo from my video How I Get Wavy Hair Without Heat

Most of my beauty reviews on Chic Cocktail blog are focused on hair care products which actually corresponds to my obsession with hair styles, or more specifically hair color, experiments. I need to admit that I really have gone through a couple of different hair styles in the past years. You can even see the proof in my post ‘My different hairstyles’. Altogether with my main passion, which is fashion obviously, I can see the picture of me quite clearly. Once I’m all dressed up and my hair is fine, I feel good. My makeup is a secondary issue. A healthy diet and calm mind is my best skincare. If my skin in in good condition, I do not burden it with makeup, usually. My mornings are all about my outfit, accessories and the hair! If you have long hair, you will agree with me that sometimes it’s difficult to find new loose hairstyles. The natural style of my hair is something between straight and a little wavy and since it is particularly not definable, it also looks like that if I don’t style it. I’ve been straightening my hair a lot and sometimes I’ve also been curling it with my flat iron. Recently, I fell in love with big waves hair style. (more…)

Smooth Legs with Sugar Paste

We all want to have smooth legs all the time, especially in summer when we expose them the most. As I mentioned in my Sugar Body Scrub review, I’ve been learning how to do sugaring hair removal. And literally, I’ve tried hard and there must have been over dozen unsuccessful tries. But since I’ve also experienced professional salon sugaring and saw how my sensitive skin was really comfortable with the process plus the long lasting effects, I decided that one day I will learn how to do sugaring technique at home.

Melvita Rose Day Cream

Melvita_rose_day_cream

In my recent beauty routine I’ve become pretty much minimalistic treating the skin of both face and my body with the amazing organic cold pressed coconut oil. I love its moisturizing, cleansing and regenerating effects. However, the oil is obviously not an ideal base to start with in the morning before you apply a foundation. Thus I was searching for a natural product with long lasting hydrating effects.
